El
premio Diputación de Toledo recae en el piragüista Francisco
Cubelos Sánchez, el premio a prensa deportiva lo recibe la atleta
Irene Sánchez Escribano, y el premio especial valores humanos
lo recibe Rosa Rodríguez Sánchez.
El
premio especial a los valores humanos, que se estrena en esta
edición, será recogido por la atleta del equipo de Orientación
Toledo, Rosa Rodríguez Sánchez, que tras la aplicación de la
maniobra RCP y el empleo de un desfibrilador salvó la vida a un
atleta toledano y miembro de la FEDO (Federación Española de
orientación), que al finalizar una carrera y llegar a la meta sufrió
una parada cardíaca.
La
vicepresidenta de Cultura, Educación, Turismo y Deportes, María
Ángeles García, ha manifestado respeto hacia este premio, “esos
ejemplos de generosidad y valentía marcan este galardón, pues así
visibilizamos el compañerismo y la solidaridad”, quien
ha destacado la importancia de la iniciativa de la Diputación para
dotar de más de 160 desfibriladores a pabellones e instalaciones
deportivas.

The
special prize for human values, which premieres in this edition, will
be picked up by the Toledo Orienteering team athlete, Rosa Rodríguez
Sánchez, who after applying the CPR maneuver and using a
defibrillator saved the life of an athlete from Toledo and member of
the SOF (Spanish Orienteering Federation), that at the end of a race
and reach the goal suffered an heart attack.
The
Vice President of Culture, Education, Tourism and Sports, María
Angeles García, has expressed respect for this award, "these
examples of generosity and courage mark this award, as well we make
visible the comradeship and solidarity", who has highlighted the
importance of the initiative of the Provincial Council of endow more
than 160 defibrillators to pavilions and sports installations.
