LA
UE ESTUDIA SI LOS ESTADOS MIEMBROS HACEN LO POSIBLE POR EVITAR SANCIONES POR LA
CONTAMINACIÓN DEL AIRE.
Bruselas decidirá
este mes si implanta acciones legales contra nueve de los estados miembros por
infringir las normas de contaminación del aire de la UE después de que estos
países hayan presentado planes para reducir estos problemas de polución aérea.
El comisionado
europeo de Medio Ambiente dirigido por Karmenu Vella, había dicho a los
ministros de los nueve estados con estos problemas, que a la Comisión Europea
se le está agotando la paciencia porque ellos presentan soluciones para la
contaminación, pero luego ellos no las cumplen. Estas naciones son las
potencias económicas de la UE, como pueden ser, Alemania, Gran Bretaña y
Francia. Los otros países incluidos en este paquete son Italia, España,
Rumanía, Hungría, la República Checa y Eslovaquia.
Desde Bruselas, les
dieron 10 días para presentar nuevas medidas adicionales, que sean creíbles,
oportunas y efectivas. Una de las propuestas que propusieron los países, fue la
de reducir contaminantes como el óxido de nitrógeno.
La Comisión estima
que 400.000 personas mueren cada año como resultado de la contaminación del
aire, y los objetivos que fueron introducidos para los años entre 2005 y 2015
que se están excediendo en 23 de los 28 países de la UE.
El Ministerio de
Medio Ambiente francés ha enviado un comunicado a la Comisión Europea diciendo
que a lo largo de esta semana se reunirá con los Ayuntamientos que violan los
límites de contaminación para pedirles que bajen los niveles o si no serán
sancionados
El gobierno italiano
hizo lo propio sólo que este mandó una carga al Comisionado Europeo y que pidió
a la UE que les dieran 6.500 millones de euros para mejorar la calidad del aire
italiano. Para ello el gobierno presidido por Sergio Mattarella, ha propuesto
cambiar la flota de transporte público para que al ser más nuevo no contaminen
tanto como los antiguos y que sean sostenibles.
Ahora la UE estudia
si llevar a estos países al Tribunal Europeo si infringen las Euro leyes sobre
ella contaminación del aire. Estos casos suenan a aquel en el que estuvieron
implicados Polonia y Bulgaria y que ya fueran sancionados por este tribunal.

Europe has a problem about the air pollution and Brussels knows it. This
month the European Commission will decide if they had to penalise nine of their
members because they would have broken the rules about the air pollution.
The nations who could be in trouble with the European Union are the
economic powers in the EU. They are Germany, Spain, the UK, France, Italy,
Romania, Hungary, Check Republic and Slovakia.
From Brussels, they gave 10 days to present new additional solutions for
the air problem. One of solutions that they presented last year were reducing
the level of nitrogen oxide and it loved a lot to the European Commission, so
they will probably send this recommendation in their new solutions for the
trouble.
The European Commission estimates that every years 400,000 people is
killed as the result of the air pollution. One of the objectives of the EU
since 2005 was to reduce the level of air which is contaminated. Nowadays, 23
countries of 28 which forms the group of countries default on the rule of air
pollution.
The Ministry of Environment for all the countries have sent their
apologies and have said to their local goverments that they have to reduce the
level at the cities or they will be penalise. The Ministries which have been
sounded were the French and the Italian.
Right now the EU is studying if the will have to curry these countries
to European Court of Justice. This Court of Justice will think about if the
countries break the laws of the EU about the air pollution. This case is like
another one before which Poland and Bulgaria were penalised by the European
Court of Justice.
